This week I was at the CBS Dallas office to introduce our area clients to Gina Delbano, the newest member of Team CBS. Gina has joined CBS as an Account Executive and will be working with operators in the Dallas area. She brings a deep experience to our team having work in the area of retail and restaurant POS/technology for a number of years. Welcome to CBS, Gina!
Another reason for the trip was to meet up with Patrick Purcell, Director of Business Development for Tekmark, Inc. to deliver a CBS Webinar about PCI Compliance. The webinar was a big hit, providing lots of valuable information about PCI and specifically tailored for restaurant operators. I’ve put a link to the video recording at the end of this post. Patrick, Gina and I all teamed up have lunch with the IT team from Boston’s Restaurants which included Richelle Anderson, Director of Training and Technology along with Heath Hatch, Manager of IT. Boston’s is a long-time CBS customer and right now, PCI Compliance issues are top of mind. As a result of the meeting, in the coming weeks CBS and Tekmark will co-host a webinar about PCI Compliance specifically tailored for Boston’s Franchisee Group. We’ll cover PCI pitfalls, what steps to take to properly secure and maintain their payment card environment.
So it was a good week in Dallas. I’m heading home to the OC.
